Massage Charleston is an appointment only therapeutic massage studio providing massage to enhance your quality of life. Through bodywork and relaxation massage, I can help you relieve stress and muscular tension, reduce inflammation and fatigue, and overcome acute and chronic conditions. I also provide self-care tips and instruction to aid you in sustaining a healthy body.
Whether you are an athlete recovering from a game/run/event, beat up from Cross fit, prepping for your next triathlon, or searching for pain relief from injury or surgery, I am here to help you feel your best. I am an athlete, too. I get it. We all demand a lot from our bodies, but understand when it's time to give the body something back.

A Charleston, SC native, Daphne earned her degree from the Edmund Morgan School of Neuromuscular & Massage Therapy in Cornelius, NC in 2008.
A reflective and tenacious person by nature, she initially opened The Great Escape Spa Therapy (a wellness center) in 2010.
Following recognition that her own path had repeatedly led her back to the importance of healthy living and realizing that others desire the same, she opened Massage Charleston in 2013, a private practice specializing in deep tissue massage, neuromuscular massage, trigger point therapy, and sports rehab.

This massage targets specific problem areas.
When affected areas are located, the therapist performs a series of static pressure manipulations and techniques.
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) techniques include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and soft tissue manipulations.
By using variable pressure on underlying muscle, the therapist stimulates and repairs soft tissue.
In addition, NMT stimulates endorphin production, improving immune function, and restoring a healthy balance between the body's major systems.
