Evonne earned her Certificate in Therapeutic Massage from the National Institute of Massage Therapy (NMTI) in 2005. Her course work included Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, sports, lymphatic, pregnancy, and hydrotherapy massage modalities, as well as anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology. Evonne also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University.
Evonne's practice focuses on a client base of women. She believes that creating a space for women will give the most relaxation to rehabilitative massage. The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
This custom massage is often paired with Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Cupping, Thai Poultice and Aromatherapy. Some therapies include heat (small stones or herbal poultice) and therapeutic grade essential oils to sooth, warm, and massage your muscles.
