Roxanne's path to massage came as a result of personal injury and the belief in the ability of massage to transform and facilitate healing. Roxanne is a graduate of the Professional Clinical Massage Program at South Eastern Institute in Charleston. She also has a B.A. in Spanish Education and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
She brings 5 years of chiropractic massage experience as well as working at the Center for Therapeutic Massage at MUSC. She is recognized for her deep tissue therapeutic massage specializing in neck, shoulder and low back pain. Her continuing education includes Reiki I and II and neuromuscular bodywork under Steve Jurch. Roxanne credits her clients for providing the impetus to evolve as a therapist and expand her practice.
