Body Wellness
An oasis has been created just for you, a private place for you to feel accepted, warm and safe enough to just let go. Whether you suffer from cancer, post-automobile accident trauma, a sports injury, fibromyalgia or stress, a personal inner prescription for transformation is available and waiting inside you at this very moment. You see, like a diary your body and mind actually store all the unpleasant things you've ever experienced - the physical, emotional, mental and even the spiritual things.

And because you are a force of creativity, these experiences of yours can manifest as knotted muscles, chronic pain, illnesses and even bad tempers, compulsions and nasty moods. Fortunately, your body - your being - is its own pharmacy. Allow your mind, spirit and muscles to relax and you will be free to heal yourself. My clients come from all over the Pacific Northwest for Massage and Hypnotherapy, and my Guided Imagery CDs are known the world over.

If you'd like to learn more, please call 360-903-2623 to schedule a free complimentary 15-minute phone consultation.

40 percent of adult Americans said they had at least one massage in the last five years to reduce stress - up from 22 percent reported in 2007.
More than 39 million American adults (16 percent) have discussed massage therapy with their doctors or health care providers.
73 percent of massage therapists said each month they average 1.5 referrals from health care professionals.
The above statistics come from a 2010 American Massage Therapy Association consumer survey.
People get massage for varying reasons.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage uses a gentle, light, noninvasive touch to help your body heal.
I use only organic, unscented, chemical-free massage lotion or oils for all bodywork.
If you have allergies to grape or apricot oil, please tell me before your session begins.
If you enjoy Aromatherapy, specially selected essential oils may be added to any therapy you choose.
Simply put, Aromatherapy Massage uses scent to elevate your mood.
The scent comes from organic essential oils that are chosen by you and I based upon your likes and dislikes, your current mood and/or symptoms, and any allergies you may have.
By touching a body, we touch every event it has experienced.
For a few brief moments we hold all of a client's stories in our hands.
We witness someone's experience of their own flesh, through some of the most powerful means possible: the contact of our hands, the acceptance of the body without judgment, and the occasional listening ear.
With these gestures we reach across the isolation of the human experience and hold another person's legend.
In massage therapy, we show up and ask, in so many ways, what it is like to be another human being.

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle system of bodywork that uses a feather-light touch.
Instead of being massaged, areas of the body are held.
For instance, while you're lying on your back, fully-clothed if you like, I will place my fingers where your neck meets your head and gently pull your head toward me.
It will feel wonderful, I promise.
I will continue to hold this position for you for a minute or two, watching for changes in your breathing and subtle feelings of movement just beneath your skin.
Guided Imagery is classified as mind-body alternative medicine.
While it's similar to hypnotherapy, it differs in that it relies almost exclusively on your senses, making it a profound form of mental suggestion.
In a typical Guided Imagery session, you'll be comfortably seated or reclined in a warmly lit room.
I will have already asked you to reveal a few of your favorite and most comforting things.
Once you're ready, I'll begin to guide you into a state of deep relaxation using the places, images, colors, sounds, sights and scents you've told me comfort you.
