Massage continues to receive recognition as being a key component to better health. It is no longer viewed as a simple luxury, but is considered an essential element of total well-being. My massage clinic is located at 802 S. Pacific in Long Beach, Washington. A peaceful place for visitors of the Long Beach Peninsula and residents to come and unwind.

My goal as your massage therapist is to ensure a relaxing experience and to provide you with a massage that addresses your specific needs. I received my advanced massage therapy training from Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage located in Olympia, Washington, which specializes in deep tissue massage, structural bodywork, injury treatment, medical and sports massage therapy, in addition to many other advanced massage and bodywork modalities.

After repeated appointments, I have seen a dramatic improvement in muscle areas with decreased pain and increased movement. I now see how beneficial massage can be and plan on using massage continually for my own well being and overall health.

Stress Reduction: Massage is a great way to reduce the stress in your life.
Not only are the physical effects very soothing, but there is often reduced anxiety and increased feelings of well-being.
Massage has been proven to reduce levels of "stress hormones" that can be hazardous to your health.
Pain Relief: Muscular aches and pains are often reduced or eliminated through massage therapy.
Also, when combined with other types of therapy like Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Myofascial Release (MFR), and even Medical Massage, those with chronic pain may get long-lasting relief.
For general health and relaxation I recommend massage 1-2 times per month for people under light to moderate stress.
This would also include people who are sedentary or who exercise only occasionally.
Receiving massage therapy once or twice per month can have excellent health benefits and help reduce the effects of stress.
For people who have high-stress occupations or living conditions, I recommend a higher frequency of massage therapy - weekly.
In this case, massage therapy helps the individual in coping with their stress.
