We boarded our dog Mr. Higgins for 5 days during travel.
Even though he was vaccinated, he still acquired the flu.
When we picked him up his eyes were drooping, he had very concentrated urine, had a horrible cough and was throwing up.
He didn't eat half of the food we sent with him.
We took him to the vet immediately.
The Vet administered 700ml of subcutaneous fluids, did a chest x-ray to check for pneumonia (which he didn't have), gave him anti-nausea and antibiotic shots and wanted to hospitalize him for severe dehydration.
