From a young age, I knew that I would never sit at a desk for forty hours a week. While I am someone that could sleep for hours upon hours; when I am awake- I like to move. I was an athlete: soccer for 18 years, softball for 10 years, bicycling all afternoon, tree-climbing, hiking, basketball, fort-building, running. You name it- I was probably into it at some point.

But it caught up with me. After years of constant movement, my ongoing battle with depression, and eventual onset of chronic low back pain and tendonitis in my knee, I knew something had to change. So, there it was- Massage Therapy. I was happy again. I was in my body, instead of in the clouds. I was whole again. I was healing. I found myself using a combination of knowledge, physical bodywork and sacred space to assist my clients into understanding how they themselves held tension.

And that's what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Like most therapists, I want to help you. But first and foremost, I want to help you help yourself.
