Services
Madsen Massage Therapy now resides in a beautiful historical house called The Manhattan.
It was built in 1913 as the Manager's Cottage for the Manhattan Court Apartments originally located at 107 E. 11th St. in Tulsa.
It was relocated and restored in 1992 by the well-known Tulsa architect John Brooks Walton, after he heard it was going to be torn down.
After Mr. Walton restored the building, it became his office for the remainder of his years.
The Manhattan is highlighted in one of Mr. Walton's books, "One Hundred Historic Tulsa Homes."
Medical massage is outcome based massage therapy in which the treatment focuses on relieving and manipulating soft tissue affected by a health condition, whether it be a localized issue or a systemic condition.
Examples of localized conditions include recovery from a sprained ankle that has recently formed scar tissue.
Examples of systemic conditions (health conditions that affect the entire body) include autoimmune, tick-borne, or inflammatory conditions.
We have treated many different types of conditions, some of which include Sciatica due to Piraformis Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scoiliosis, etc.
Note from the owner (Nina): I opened my doors as Nina Madsen Massage Therapy at 3220 S. Peoria on Brookside inside the Crow Creek Office Building in Aug of 2010.
I built my practice slowly over the next 7 years, and in 2016 relocated to Elixir Skincare Studio on 16th + Boston, officially changed our name to Madsen Massage Therapy LLC and also hired my first therapist.
In 2019, we expanded and moved right down the street to "The Manhattan, " where our office now resides, and we added more therapists and a receptionist.

Autumn is a time for letting go, and shedding what doesn't serve us.
The leaves of the trees fall, and they prepare for a winter's rest.
It is a time for reflection and transition from warmer weather to going back to school and preparing for cold and flu season.
To commemorate this beautiful season, we welcome back our very own Smashing Pumkins Massage our new Seasonal Package - The 4 Seasons Massage.
This seasonal package is created to help you relax, unwind and keep your immune system functioning at an optimum level as the temperatures slowly get cooler and cold and flu season kicks in.
