A Richmond native, Abigail is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Infant Massage Instructor and a Postpartum and Birth Doula. She received her doula training from both DONA (Doulas of North America) and To Labor. She graduated from the Lotus School of Integrated Professions in 2014 and has additional training in acupressure for pregnancy and birth, rebozo use during labor, prenatal massage, Thai massage, infant massage, and MyoFascial Release for pelvic imbalance and disorders.
Abigail also holds a Masters in Social Work from Boston College and a background in working with families in crisis. She has a passion for bodywork and for supporting families through the transition of pregnancy, birth and new parenthood. Abigail graduated from SCHEV certified Lotus School of Integrated Professions (formerly American Institute of Massage) in 2014 after completing 500 hours in massage therapy instruction.
Abigail is a member in good standing of the American Massage Therapy Association, the largest non-profit, professional association serving massage therapists in the world.

Abigail has been studying Thai massage in the style of the folk healers of Northern Thailand with Woven Body Healing Arts owner Damion Bond since 2015.
Having completed over 120 hours of hands on instruction, her Thai massages frequently incorporate traditional warm herbal compresses.

I was in a serious car accident earlier this year and have had a lot of trauma to recover from, and Abigail's Thai massages have been helpful in easing my pain and allowing my body to recover movement.
