1997 Graduated from UTSW Medical and was board certified by the National Certification Corporation for Obstetrics, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties as a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior to becoming an NP she earned her degree as a licensed practical nurse in 1989 and began working for the State of Tx in mental health and mental retardation while working her way through her RN education and graduating with honors in 1991.
