Active Release Techniques (ART) is a hands-on touch therapy administered by trained professionals to assess and treat soft-tissue injuries. Soft tissue refers primarily to muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. Specific injuries that a practitioner will address. P-DTR is a revolutionary neuromuscular treatment method that addresses a largely overlooked system of the body: the proprioceptive system.

The proprioceptor system gives our brain information about what's going on inside and outside of our body. Anatomy in Motion (AiM) explores the moving human body in the normal gait cycle. It is a comprehensive gait analysis system and movement therapy that addresses imbalances joint-by-joint and as a whole.
Services
Carl has been working in the health, fitness and wellness industry for over 15 years.
After completing his degree in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University, Carl started his career as a personal trainer and quickly moved up the ranks into management at a fitness club on a multi-club level.
He enjoyed his work as regional fitness director, teaching personal trainers the value of education and client results.
After moving on to provide specialized services in his own business, Carl continued to increase his skill-set with a certification in manual therapy from the San Francisco School of Massage.
Anatomy in Motion (AiM) explores the moving human body in the normal gait cycle.
It is a comprehensive gait analysis system and movement therapy that addresses imbalances joint-by-joint and as a whole.
Gait tells a novel of information as every joint of the body moves under a second in its cycle.
Understanding which joints should be moving at each phase of gait allows a practitioner to understand where a client needs treatment.
AiM uses gentle movement that clients can perform anywhere to help to reset and tap into movement patterns they have previously been unable to access.
Active Release Techniques (ART) is a hands-on touch therapy administered by trained professionals to assess and treat soft-tissue injuries.
Soft tissue refers primarily to muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.
Specific injuries that a practitioner will address are repetitive strains, adhesions, tissue hypoxia, and joint dysfunction.
Individually or together these can cause a range of symptoms including pain, weakness, reduced range of motion, and neuropathy.
ART was created by Dr. Michael Leahy, D.C., as he saw a need in his work as a chiropractor to have a more effective soft tissue technique to utilize with his patients.
Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex Therapy (P-DTR) is a revolutionary neuromuscular treatment method that addresses a largely overlooked system of the body: the proprioceptive system.
The proprioceptor system gives our brain information about what's going on inside and outside of our body - it lets us know we're okay or if we need to adjust what we're doing to protect ourselves.
Akin to software programming for the body, P-DTR's system addresses pain, dysfunction, and weakness by resetting imbalances in the body's nervous system.
