We are dedicated to graduating therapists who have mastered massage therapy, will be economically successful, and personally fulfilled. The therapeutic massage therapy program at Lakewood School offers you small class sizes, qualified instructors, flexible scheduling, and Financial Aid for those who qualify. Students may use the credits earned toward a degree at St. Clair Community College or Sienna Heights University.

We embrace the Art and Science of the practice of Massage Therapy.
Students develop assessment and palpation skills and clinical reasoning abilities so they can design a treatment plan to meet the needs of the clients they serve.
In our program, Students learn relaxation massage as the foundation for the therapeutic techniques learned later in the program.
We believe relaxation massage is therapeutic in it's own right, and students learn therapeutic techniques for assisting clients with areas of pain, tension, and restriction.

We renovated and moved into our current location in 1999.
The school is located in a landmark brick building in a historic district of downtown Port Huron.
