CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to make your appointment, please call us to cancel with at least 24 hour advance notice. You will be charged the full session price if you do not show up for your appointment. I have had massages with Nicole and Kristy and can't pride them enough for their expertise. They targeted areas related to a painful lower back, and I'm feeling improvement already.

Hey, FIBROMYALGIA people, interested in having a life again? Be able to walk across a room and not look and feel like you are 25 years older than you are. Not have to take so many pain pills throughout your day, just to live like everyone else? I have been to pain clinics, physical therapy, cortisone shots, etc. just to repeat it again and again. The answer to your relief is NICOLE BEAUCHAMP.

Nicole will always ask the location of pain at that time and work specifically with those muscles. She will inform you of the muscle connections in your body and teach you specific stretches and exercises to help you.

She has worked as a massage therapist in Physical and Occupational Therapy settings, assisting patients in their recovery.
She's worked closely with doctors and physical therapists in the rehabilitation of patients who've been in auto accidents with brain/spinal cord injuries.
She has experienced helping patients gain mobility using manual therapy and stretching.
She's helped a lot of people get out of pain.
Her work can be very deep or lighter, depending on the needs of the client.
Karen received her training from the Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts.
She has also taken additional courses in Cranial Sacral therapy from the Upledger Institute and Myofascial Release from John Barnes.
Her massages tend to include both of the above therapies as well as Acupressure, Polarity and Swedish techniques.
The sessions can be all one modality i.e.
Cranial Sacral Therapy or Myofascial Release or incorporating a combination of techniques in accordance with the client's needs and desires.
Dilates blood vessels therefore improving circulation and relieving congestion throughout the body.
This is the most common type of massage therapy.
Massage therapists use long smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle tissues.
Generally, Swedish massage techniques are perfect for relaxation and pain relief and tension.
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue.
The massage therapist applies slower strokes and deeper pressure across the grain of the muscle.
Some conditions that can benefit from regular Reiki sessions: pre and post operation times, chronic or acute pain such as arthritis or fibromyalgia, fatigue, grief, headaches, physical injuries, vertigo symptoms, effects of daily stress and anxiety, or perhaps you are desiring assistance with meditation.
Reiki supports emotion, mind, body and soul and it's helpfulness is vast, beyond these suggestions.
Reiki assists with overall well being because it works with your endocrine system in cooperation with the parasympathetic nervous system which signals your body to relax and recover.
Your therapist will conduct a short interview before the session to learn how you are feeling and what your needs are for this session.
You will then work together to determine the treatment plan for that session.
Your therapist will leave the room to provide you the privacy to undress down to your comfort level, (underwear on or nude are acceptable for table massage; loose, comfortable clothes are worn for Thai massage) and will knock on the door first to make sure you're ready.
Modesty and boundaries are highly respected.
