I grew up as a Military Brat traveling all over, and I joined the USAF Reserves after graduating High School in Northern California. After serving as a Chaplain Assistant and Computer Admin I went to school for Massage Therapy. I had decided after my first massage when I was 19 that this was going to be something I would pursue. I love fitness, but Therapeutic Massage is my truest passion.
I graduated from Hawaii Healing Arts College intensive 10 month certification training program in 2012. I love combining different modalities into an Integrative approach to my massage practice. In school we learned the basic swedish massage style with added modalities such as shiatsu, deep tissue, geriatric, prenatal, reiki, reflexology, and even rolfing/structural integration.
Beyond school I have been certified in Lomilomi-Traditional Hawaiian Relaxation massage, Thai Yoga mat massage, Segmental Bodywork-structural integration, Sports Therapy and Aromatherapy. Integrative massage integrates all of these modalities and incorporates them into each session with clients based on their specific needs.
