Carolyn has worked exclusively in the Historic Old Market, and greatly enjoys the energy of the Old Market and being a part of the Old Market community. She started her massage career in the Old Market Passageway, working in that building for 12 years. Having moved from there, but still wanting that history to be a part of her business, she kept the name and adapted it into Passageway Massage, your journey to wellness.
A 15 year member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), Carolyn has continued to hone her skills studying many different modalities including deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, myokinesthetics, unlocking computer shoulder, core body mechanics, sports massage, structural analysis, reflexology, lava stone, and Ayurvedic Pancha Karma treatments.
Carolyn is able to draw on all her education and 15 years of experience to focus her massage to each client's individual needs and benefits. She is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance.
