Services
We're both graduates of the Alternative Conjunction Clinic and School of Massage Therapy, licensed by the state of PA, and certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
And we each take Continuing Education classes every year to hone our skills and broaden our therapeutic horizons.
Both of us are trained and experienced in the classic Massage Therapy modalities - Swedish, rejuvenation, neuromuscular, deep tissue, myofascial release, prenatal, seated chair and more.
Neuromuscular Massage, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy, involves concentrated finger pressure to break the cycle of spasm and pain.
Slow, deep pressure strokes and friction are also used to work the deeper layers of muscles.
Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) may be used to stretch and lengthen tight muscles.
Reflexology is a science based on the theory that our entire body, including organs, glands and body parts, have reflex points located on the feet.
Thumb and finger pressure is applied to release blockages, re-establish balance to organs and systems of the body, and provide deep relaxation.
Communicate - During treatment, let your therapist know if the massage pressure needs adjusting, or any other modification that could help enhance your experience.
Relax - With few exceptions, massages are passive for the client, and it's important that you "let go" - mentally and physically - to realize the best results.
Enjoy the afterglow - you'll have a few minutes after the session to enjoy the results of the therapy.
Think ahead - Talk to your therapist after treatment.
We need your feedback to make the next session even more enjoyable.

I have had work done on me by Anita for many months now, and she is wonderful.
She truly learned my particular neuro-muscular tension spots for my chronic condition and each time got farther in to the right places.
She may look petite, but she is a strong and intuitive massage therapist.
I have had many massage sessions over the decades and I can say she is the best.
