Tina Thelen would like to welcome you to a relaxing and rejuvenating massage experience. By combining relaxation techniques and clinical massage techniques she can help you with your aches and pains while still giving you a relaxing experience. Tina graduated from the Therapeutic Massage Program, at Lansing Community College in 2011.
While in school she did an internship with the Michigan State athletes doing sports massage, and developed a "no nonsense" clinical expertise to help those with injuries get back to doing what they love. She also did an internship with a nursing home where she mostly focused on relaxing techniques and being a listening ear. After Tina graduated she went on to work with Bilky Joda-Miller at All Body Kneads; Bilky is the former President of the Michigan Board of Massage Therapist.
Tina worked at All Body Kneads for four years until opening up her own practice, Westphalia Clinical Massage.

Swedish Massage is the most common and best known type of massage.
It involves long, fluid strokes of muscles and tissues with pressure that varies from light to medium to firm.
This type of massage is considered to be one of the most relaxing styles; the pressure will be adjusted according to your sensitivity and preference.
Deep Tissue Massage is a deeper more intense massage.
This technique uses slow, deep guided strokes and firm pressure designed to relieve severe tension and reach below the superficial muscles.
