While the names are similar, Lomi bodywork is different from the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage. Using multiple techniques and modalities, I help clients discover the illusions/perceptions in their life that are holding them back and finding the strength to change and heal on their life's journey. The Dragonfly and Bear, as symbolized in my logo are reflective of the healing journey and the essense of change.
My practice focus is healing and somatically oriented to bring balance or "wellness" back into our lives. My practice includes a wide range of clients who are seeking to improve a variety of health-related issues such as injuries; pre and post op work; clients with chronic pain or illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, lupus and fibromyalgia; clients working through body issues as a result of childhood trauma; as well as clients seeking massage for stress management, relaxation and other health benefits.
Your well-being is the goal of massage and bodywork. Your sessions will utilize a variety of massage techniques and bodywork methods specific for your individual needs and desired outcome.

Lomi bodywork requires the bodyworker to work from a place of being grounded, centered and clear-intentioned in order to hold a safe place for clients.
Therefore, Lomi workers are usually experienced and comfortable working with both the physical and the emotional releases that often occur as a result of clear, safe, well-intentioned, nurturing awareness and touch.
Breath is a powerful tool used to shift moods and increase the client's awareness of sensations, moods, emotions and feelings.
Touch includes polarity points and deep tissue work to reduce the constrictions and increase the flow of energy through the whole body.

I am a licensed, certified massage therapist, Lomi bodyworker, and somatic life coach.
I received my massage certificate from Integrative Therapy School in Sacramento, CA in 1996.
At the Rancho Strozzi Institute in Petaluma, Ca, I studied under the founders of the Lomi School, Richard Strozzi-Heckler, PhD & Robert Hall, MD in the areas of somatic education and Lomi bodywork in 1995.
Many times when my clients are experiencing breakthroughs in their healing journey, they often tell me they start seeing lots and lots of dragonflies.
