I made a visit to the ER about a year ago. I received a shot and some muscle relaxers, and was sent home. I recovered slowly, and with another episode in a week. My orthopedist felt nothing was wrong and I was sent home with a script.
I had received an x-ray showing nothing was wrong. I attended physical therapy learned what I could and didn't need anything else for about 1 year. I woke up one day and the pain was excruciating. I couldn't walk, go to the bathroom, or lay down without excessive pain. If you know the pain scale I was at a 10+. I didn't want to go to the ER, because I knew that wouldn't solve anything.
I did use the pain scripts I had been given, but the relief was minimal, and slow. My Mother knew Leah and suggested a massage. I was ready for anything to relieve this pain, and get back to living.
