Care Collective
I grew up in Washington State and moved to Salt Lake City to attend the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1995. When I was little I went to an iridologist every month, she would use muscle testing to gather information about the body. I learned early that my body knew more than me. For me, massage school was my doorway in to learning more about myself and the human body.

Massage is a conversation between what someone says and what their body has to say. My mission in the massage field is to connect the two. Over the years of self discovery and attending aloha massage in Kealakekua Hawaii, I have seen that our body keeps the score of all we encounter in this life. I have been practicing massage since 2015, I have come to love the world of sports massage, deep tissue, and trigger point work.

As I moved home to NC began to boulder, ride mountain bikes, and hike more than ever before and realized there is power in mobility! Massage helps me maintain my active lifestyle and my hopes in the work I do is for it to also be a healthcare alleyway to keep people prioritizing their bodies, and unrestricted by any pains or traumas their body may be holding onto.
