So sad
Sadly I need to add a new review to the same business that’s quite the opposite of my initial review.
I am banned! Yes I am officially banned from this establishment! Why? Because I dared to complain about my massage! I made an appointment for a 60 min deep tissue massage. What I received was lotion applied to my body. First off the masseuse didn’t really speak English unbeknownst to me. I should have known when the little I said to her went unanswered. I have no issue telling my masseuse it’s too much or too little pressure. I communicated repeatedly, at least 5 times, that I’d prefer firmer pressure. It was all but ignored except for an occasional elbow jammed into me. I laid on the table hoping things would change but it was clear she was not qualified to perform a deep tissue massage. This was the first massage at this establishment and the first massage EVER where I had to say something.
I don’t know his name but the owner, Mary’s husband, was the person I spoke with. Rather than listening to a customer who has patronized the Estero location from its very beginning, he proceeded to treat me like a piece of garbage. He actually confronted me along with the masseuse to tell this poor girl I thought she was “not good”. I was trying to keep my complaint discreet since he had other customers waiting but he didn’t care. His reaction was a mere oh, “I will make a note of it for next time so you won’t have the same masseuse.”
I explained it wasn’t fair to be charged $80 plus tax plus tip for lotion applied for 50 mins. (My husband paid before me and had no idea of the so called massage I received.)
Mary’s husband then told me he would refund my money but I am “never to come back”!
I wanted a reasonable solution, he apparently thinks he doesn’t need the business of me or my husband (who also gets massages there).
I was shocked a small business owner would react like this. He’s nothing more than a bully who tries to intimidate.
So my husband said we should leave as there are plenty of massage places out there. I agreed with my husband and we left with me telling Mary’s husband I will be sure to let others know how he conducts business.
Basically he treated me as if I had planned all along to plot a free massage. In spite of being a customer when Mary first established Massage Point Estero. It was so early in her opening they charged $65 for an hour massage.
Sometimes expansion leads to quality control issues.
I was so angry and chose to leave without a refund.
Apparently he needs the money more than I do.

My husband and I have been going to Massage point for several months now. We've had several massage therapists and they are all great but we both agree that Ali works for us both because of our health problems. She's very strong and always listens to our concerns. Give them a try . The owners are very nice and all the massage therapists are very well trained and professionally dressed. Some massage places aren't so professional and don't dress professional either. Give them a try.

I love coming here. The receptionist is always kind while making the appointments. My massages are always amazing! Perfect pressure and very experienced massage therapists. They even put something down to prop your neck up nicely when you flip over. The prices are also great! They use hot stones which feel great (although I really hope they clean them well lol.) Overall very happy with my experiences here
