HeartFire Therapeutics
HeartFire Therapeutics is the private practice of Tiffany Shocklee. I offer therapeutic massage, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, private yoga instruction, and wellness workshops. My office is conveniently located in downtown Golden, CO. I do offer house calls throughout the Denver Metro area if you have mobility limitations; please inquire for pricing.

I have evening and weekend appointments available. Visit my online scheduling site by clicking book online at the bottom of the page. I have always been fascinated by the mystery and artistry of the embodied experience. At the same time, I am passionate about the scientific study of the human body in health and in challenge. Massage, Yoga, and Craniosacral Therapy all give me the opportunity to explore this edge between art and science in the body.

Sixteen years of study and practice has given me a solid foundation for understanding the complexities of this physical form. Still, I am reminded every day that there is deeper wisdom in muscle and bone, blood and breath, than we can ever grasp fully.
Services
I offer Massage Therapy, Private Yoga Instruction (and weekly public classes in Golden, CO), and specialize in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
I am also recently certified in Ashiatsu barefoot massage through Deep Feet Bar Therapy.
In this creative modality, I use my feet to deliver deep, broad, comfortable pressure.
Working with gravity and body weight, I am able to deliver much deeper pressure without the pointed pressure of elbows, thumbs, and knuckles.
The result is a deeply detoxifying, spine elongating, myofascial releasing, profoundly relaxing session.
We may incorporate Deep tissue, Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Sports massage, Myofascial release, Neuromuscular reintegration, Reflexology, and Range-of-motion exercises.
I am also certified in Ashiatsu barefoot massage through Deep Feet Bar Therapy.
In an Ashiatsu session, I use my feet and body weight to deliver strong compressive and circulatory strokes.
I am able to apply much deeper pressure with my feet than with my hands, without the discomfort of digging in with elbows, thumbs, and knuckles.
Are you a brand-new beginner to yoga?
Challenged by injury, disability, or a chronic condition that makes public classes intimidating?
A long-time practitioner seeking to deepen your understanding of the art and science of yoga?
Private yoga sessions are the perfect opportunity to build confidence, move at your pace, receive plenty of hands-on adjustments and alignment cues, ask tons of questions, and receive the myriad benefits of this creative and intelligent practice.
Private sessions can also be an education in anatomy/physiology, personal postural analysis, or techniques in meditation and/or pranayama (breath techniques) for students interested in exploring the broader scope that the yoga tradition has to offer.
Born from the framework of Osteopathic medicine in the early 20th century, this is an energetic approach to healing that taps into the intelligence of the central nervous system and the fluids in the body to promote health from the inside.
Unlike massage, we use gentle, sustained holds to identify areas of imbalance and stimulate the body's own resources to create lasting shifts.
While many physical issues can be addressed with Craniosacral therapy, particularly postural realignment, it also encourages release of mental holding patterns or emotional trauma stuck in the tissue, and provides an opportunity for a profound state of meditation.
I have been practicing massage and teaching yoga for the past 17 years, and practicing Craniosacral therapy for 11.
Since 2017 I have been teaching with ComeBack Yoga, a non profit organization that offers yoga for veterans at VA and VFW locations throughout the metro area.
This has been an incredibly welcoming community, and I am excited to expand into the new terrain of trauma informed yoga.
Every day I feel blessed to have a job that offers me a meaningful connection to people, a chance to practice presence, and the opportunity to continue a lifelong study of the body in motion and in health.
