I practice clinical massage for pain relief, injury prevention and post surgical care. I specialize in working with joints of the extremities: the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, pelvis, hip, knee, ankle and foot. I have extensive training in corrective massage. My approach is to listen. My techniques include Myofascial release, Thai massage, Craniosacral and visceral manipulation.

I also offer trauma-recovery skills to help your subtle body self-regulate, integrate and increase resiliency. My touch is caring, centering and direct. Supporting your comfort is my key focus. Online Feldenkrais: 'Awareness Through Movement' lessons guide you into mobility and ease. The feedback I often hear is "I don't know how such small movements can make such a big change in how my body feels."

I am also currently studying posture alignment coaching with the Egoscue Institute. The two methods complement each other well! I offer group and private lessons to custom fit your needs and help you to live pain-free.

It is my great pleasure to write on behalf of Ms. Tess Bradley.
She has been my massage therapist since May of 2011, and I owe a large portion of my physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being to her.
In March of 2010, I suffered an L1 burst fracture, and underwent an emergency spinal fusion of four of my vertebrae.
This has been a traumatic incident in my life, both physically and emotionally.
At 24, I am no longer able to do many of the activities that I have enjoyed in the past, and I battle chronic pain, nerve pain, and neurological deficits on a daily basis.
Vaya was a successful wraparound team outpatient clinic with an educational, family systems, client-centered approach.
I worked with people age 15-25 who struggled with emotional issues, addiction recovery and body image issues.
This was a gifted and wholehearted team of counselors, mental health coaches, healing arts therapists.
Dr Arnett was the director and psychiatrist.
Vaya made a lasting impression on me of the positive results possible in engaged team heathcare, and my role in this work.
