Dean Agiato has been providing professional massage therapy to the people of the Lehigh Valley since 1994. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and received his massage training from The Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy at Valley Forge and The Lehigh Valley Healing Arts Academy.He is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and a senior partner at Lehigh Valley Massage Associates est. Swedish massage is typically performed on a specially designed table using oil or cream as a medium.

The client removes as much or as little clothing as is comfortable to provide access for the therapist, but is draped with towels or sheets to maintain warmth and comfort. A typical session will include work on the scalp, face, limbs, hands, feet, and torso.

A simple but effective protocol that uses long, slow strokes with light to moderate pressure to induce a feeling of calm that has been known to lower blood pressure and cleanse the body of waste and toxins by stimulating the lymphatic system.
Blood and lymphatic vessels dilate, thus decreasing blood pressure and making blood flow and waste removal more efficient.
Massage liberates endorphines (the body's own pain killers), easing aches and soreness.
The release of muscular tension and spasm also decreases pressure on blood vessels, nerve clusters, joints, and vertebrae, thus improving the mobility and comfort level of the client.
Many illnesses today can be traced to stress or external contaminants (smoke, pollution, drugs, food additives).
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours notice to avoid penalty.
All clients are required to call at least 24 hours prior to the start of their scheduled appointment when cancelling.
Failure to do so will result in a $20 fee which will be due at the time of the client's next visit.
