Kristie became a licensed massage therapist because she wanted to help people heal. During her journey to becoming an LMT, she realized healing was not just physical but emotional and spiritual as well. She learned that having a safe environment for her clients is paramount and she does everything possible to make you feel secure and comfortable. Kristie graduated from the International School of Skin, Nail care and Massage Therapy and has been an LMT for 8 years.
She has worked with several different chiropractors where she has continued to hone her skills and learn techniques that complement massage, like kinesio-taping and instrument assisted massage. Kristie prides herself on treating her clients as the individuals they are, creating a massage therapy program that is specific to their needs. She believes that massage is not a luxury but an integral part of a wellness program.
Kristie is a certified medical massage practitioner as well as being certified in deep tissue massage/neuromuscular therapy, pregnancy massage, sports massage, chair massage, reflexology and cupping.

Services
Deep tissue massage therapy uses slow, direct, deep pressure to relieve pain and restore normal movement in stiff muscles, ligaments and tendons.
It is especially helpful for those suffering from osteoarthritis, acute injury, chronic pain, limited mobility, repetitive stress injuries and fibromyalgia.
Deep tissue massage aims to break down adhesions in the tissue, thereby restoring healthy blood circulation.
A deep tissue massage can cause temporary soreness, both during the treatment itself and up to a day or two later but the long lasting benefits are worth the temporary discomfort.

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) is pain and compromised movement of the jaw and surrounding muscles.
A very painful and prevalent syndrome in our society that left untreated could cause debilitating headaches, grinding of teeth and could lead to arthritis of the jaw.
Utilizing soothing massage of the head and face and neck, relief may be found from this painful condition.
Based on the theory of ancient Chinese medicine that different points on the feet correspond with different areas of the body, reflexology helps restore its balance naturally by unblocking energy channels.
