The tranquility and harmony of the ocean was bred into Wickford, Rhode Island native, Katie Johnson-Hoopes. Her innate ability to connect with people and the healing power of nature led her to her career as an Esthetician and Massage Therapist. She began her journey at Empire Beauty School in 2010 and later graduating from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 2015.
Not only is Katie well trained in her craft but possesses a deep understanding of alternative healing and how our emotional state and physical actions affect the balance of our bodies. Her impressive resume includes the start of her career as an Esthetician at Faces by Gia in Narragansett, RI and then moving to the luxurious spa at Hotel Viking in Newport, RI.
She has also rented various spaces exploring her freelance career in hopes of opening her own spa. Her most recent endeavor was at the only spa in Rhode Island to achieve a Forbes Five-Star rating, OH! Spa, at the Ocean House Resort in Watch Hill, RI. Working in high profile spas has allowed Katie to develop her business plan, gain valuable experience and learn high standards for service in preparation for opening her own spa, Rasasvada, in Wickford, RI.
